Staying at The Ridge Tahoe had its ups and downs. On the bright side, the staff was eager to help, and the spacious suites provide a home-like feel, especially with the kitchens and separate living areas. The food at the Bistro was quite good as well. However, there were maintenance issues with the rooms, such as some old windows and an unresponsive thermostat, which detracted from the overall comfort. I think it's worth considering if you're visiting in winter for skiing, but summer trips might be more enjoyable due to the pleasant surroundings.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were spacious with a rustic charm, but I experienced some maintenance issues, such as windows that needed updating and a thermostat that was hard to adjust.
Service
8.0
The staff went out of their way to assist us, although communication could improve, especially regarding housekeeping.
Location
7.0
The location is lovely, but the layout of the resort requires some outdoor walking from building to building, which can be chilly in winter.
Dining
8.0
Dining at the Bistro was a highlight for me, with delicious meals and a cozy atmosphere, though it would be better if they opened earlier.
Facilities
7.0
Facilities like the gym and pool were decent, but it took a bit of effort to find and access them.

The Ridge Resorts offers a stunning retreat high above Lake Tahoe with spectacular views and spacious accommodations. The family-oriented setup with full kitchens made it easy to feel at home, although a few amenities could use an update. While the dining options were limited, the casual restaurant provided decent meals. Overall, a comfortable place for families, but be prepared for some wear and tear in the units.

Rooms
7.0
The two-bedroom suite we stayed in was spacious with cathedral ceilings and a nice patio, but it showed signs of age.
Service
6.0
Service was adequate, but our check-in was delayed, and some requests took time to be fulfilled.
Location
9.0
Perched at nearly 8,000 feet, the location offers breathtaking views and is a short drive to the lake and activities.
Dining
6.0
The onsite dining options were limited, with casual restaurant hours not matching our schedules, but the food was decent.
Facilities
8.0
The hot tub and pool facilities were enjoyable, and the common areas were well-maintained.

I had a very enjoyable stay at this resort, especially for a last-minute booking. The room was spacious and comfortably equipped, providing great amenities for cooking. However, I did find the property to have some maintenance issues, and the location was a bit far from the main action, requiring a shuttle for easy access. Overall, it met my needs perfectly and I would gladly return.

Rooms
8.0
The room was spacious and equipped with a functional kitchen and a comfortable king-size sleep number bed. However, it could have been cleaner on arrival.
Service
7.0
The check-in process was a bit lengthy, but once everything was sorted, the staff was quite helpful overall.
Location
6.0
The resort is set away from the main lodge, which offers a quieter atmosphere but is a bit less convenient for accessing the slopes without the shuttle.
Dining
9.0
We cooked most of our meals in the well-equipped kitchen, which was a pleasant surprise for a resort.
Facilities
8.0
Aside from the nice hot tub and pool, I appreciated the numerous luggage carts available and the well-maintained gym.

Our stay had ups and downs. While the hotel is situated close to skiing activities and offers family-sized accommodations, the dining experience left much to be desired, and the facilities, especially the hot tubs, were disappointing. Still, we appreciated the efforts of some staff members. Overall, it was a fair value for money considering the location.

Rooms
7.0
The accommodations were spacious and clean, which worked well for our family vacation, but the absence of air conditioning and some issues with heating made it uncomfortable at times.
Service
5.0
While some staff members were proactive and tried to assist, communication issues with housekeeping and a lack of attentiveness dampened our experience.
Location
9.0
Ideally located next to ski areas, the resort served as a perfect base for winter fun.
Dining
5.0
The dining options were underwhelming, and we encountered issues with wrong orders, which made our meals less enjoyable.
Facilities
5.0
The hot tub facilities were out of order for part of our stay, which was truly disappointing after long days on the slopes.

My recent stay at The Ridge Tahoe was a mixed experience. While the location offers beautiful mountain scenery and the amenities like the hot tub and pool were enjoyable, we faced several issues during our visit. The restaurant was closed and service could have been better, which detracted from the overall experience. The rooms themselves were spacious and clean, making it a somewhat comfortable stay, but improvements are definitely needed in some areas.

Rooms
7.0
The suites were spacious with a full kitchen and a cozy living area that included a fireplace. However, some rooms lacked air conditioning, which made for an uncomfortable stay.
Service
6.0
Check-in was straightforward, but we had some communication issues with the front desk and a lack of proactive support from staff during our stay.
Location
7.0
The Ridge is located high in the mountains, providing stunning views, but it was a bit too remote for easy access to dining options and other attractions.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were limited, as the restaurant was closed during our stay. It would have been nice to have more local dining available on-site.
Facilities
6.0
The amenities like the hot tub and pool facilities were decent, but some didn't function properly which was disappointing. Enhancements would definitely improve the experience.
